For the same 1,000 homes, saving the same 7,300,000 gallons of water, 78,180 therms of natural gas is saved, 915,370 pounds of sulfur dioxide emissions are avoided, 1,170 pounds of nitrogen oxides are avoided, and 20 pounds of sulfur dioxide are avoided.
These numbers don’t include the individual homeowner’s fiscal impact, or the money saved in water treatment, transportation, and a variety of other related costs.
